Description
Shirdi is a small town located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, around 190 km from Pune city. The town is famous for the Shirdi Sai Baba temple, which is considered one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. The temple is dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba, a saint who is believed to have lived in the town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The temple complex is spread over a large area and includes several buildings, including the main temple, a museum, a library, and various other facilities for visitors. The main temple houses the samadhi (burial site) of Shirdi Sai Baba, and the idol of the saint is made of white marble and is adorned with flowers and ornaments.
